Rockport

Standard

Sorry, guys, I know it has been a while since I have blogged.  Josiah had a really bad cold for a week and then I had/have one.  I’m almost in the clear, though.  So, I haven’t felt like blogging lately.  Daniel is leading worship for a college thing this Sunday night and is practicing with his partner or else I still probably wouldn’t be blogging. 🙂

Well our first family vacation with everybody was awesome!  We definitely want to do it again!  We rented a house for all of us, and it was just like Christmas without the presents.  Everybody went red fish fishing and had a blast.  I stayed home with the babies.  I’m not really into fish.  Live ones, that is.  One morning I got to babysit Ruby and Josiah all by myself!!  All I did was go between cribs and feed people.  I got to have a good look into my up-coming life!  I told Daniel to not expect me to be able to do anything but take care of babies for a while after Claire gets here. I have a feeling it is going to take me a bit to get it all down.

Here are some pics of the weekend.  My mom had some really great ones, but doesn’t have electronic copies.  So, sorry.

In other news, I found this really cool song. It is written by John Mark McMillan, but this version by Kim Walker from Jesus Culture sings it, and it is wow amazing!!  It is a powerful song about God’s love.  My heart was greatly ministered to!  Oh, and the John Mark guy has a really cool sound if you’re looking for some original Christian music!!  Here are the lyrics:

Verse 1:
He is jealous for me,
Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree,
Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden,
I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory,
And I realise just how beautiful You are,
And how great Your affections are for me.

Pre-Chorus:
And oh, how He loves us so,
Oh how He loves us,
How He loves us all

Chorus 1:
Yeah, He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves.
Yeah, He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves.

Verse 2:
We are His portion and He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes,
If grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking.
So Heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss,
And the heart turns violently inside of my chest,
I don’t have time to maintain these regrets,

Chorus 2:
He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves.
Yeah, He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves us,
Oh how He loves.
